Partial Support to Attend the California Science Education Conference
The California Science Education Conference is hosted by the California Association of Science Educators (CASE). This year it will be in Sacramento, California. It begins at 8 am on November 6th and ends at 12:30 pm on November 8th. There are a wide variety of workshops and sessions.
This year, for a limited number of Noyce Scholars or Fellows, the WRNN can offer
1. Registration to the conference
2. A ticket to the Friday evening event with a taco bar, trivia and engineering activities.
3. $1,000 toward your travel expenses (if you live and teach (or student teach) more than 60 miles from Sacramento). Note that if you live or work within 60 miles, we can still offer registration.
Paid Math Noyce Networking with Flexible Professional Learning-Fall 2026
This Noyce Math Networking Event encourages Noyce math educators to find and engage in professional learning that is interesting and accessible to them. Once they’ve each engaged in professional learning of their choice, we’ll meet as a group online to share our best takeaways from the various resources and events we’ve used.
Have you been meaning to do some Professional Learning but need some additional motivation or don’t know where to find it? Are you planning to dig into a topic with an online NCTM webinar? Has your school arranged in depth training on math pedagogy or equity? Will you attend a math conference this fall? We’ll help you settle on a plan that supports YOUR professional growth with an opportunity to hear about other participants’ experiences and best resources as well!
