Conference Proposal Workshop
We invite you to apply for the 2026 Western Regional Noyce Network Conference Proposal Workshop.
The workshop has these goals:
1. Engage Noyce scholars and alumni in community-building
2. Disseminate innovative science and math teaching and learning strategies
3. Facilitate the development of professional identity for Noyce scholars and alumni
The specific outcome of the workshop is for each Noyce recipient to submit a proposal to a statewide professional educators’ conference.
Participants who complete and submit a proposal for a presentation at a professional conference (such as the California Science Education Conference or the California Mathematics Council Conference) will receive a stipend of $500. Meals will be provided for the in-person event.
There are both in-person option and online option in Spring 2026 with different dates:
In-person at Fresno State: Jan 17, Saturday, 2026
Online via Zoom: March 14, Saturday, 2026
The deadline to register for the in-person event is Monday, Jan 12, 2026.
The deadline to register for the online event is Monday, March 9, 2026.
Please indicate your choice of the modality in the registration. Only the first 30 registered will be eligible for the stipend.
