Texas Math Noyce Networking Event

OVERVIEW:
Currently and formerly awarded Noyce Scholars, Master Teachers, and Fellows are invited to register for the TX WRNN meetings. Two in-person meetings will take place, one at the beginning and one at the end of the Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching (CAMT).
Scholars who attend and fully participate in both TX WRNN meetings and the CAMT conference will earn a stipend of $500 to offset the cost of the conference.
iPads will be awarded to Noyce Scholar participants who attend both TX WRNN meetings, CAMT, and who have not already received an iPad from past TX WRNN meetings at CAMT or CAST sponsored by the University of Texas at Arlington.
Note: Participants are to bring laptops to both TX WRNN working meetings.
MEETING DATES:
TX Pre-conference Meeting at CAMT: Wednesday, July 9, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, with dinner
TX Post-conference Meeting at CAMT: Saturday, July 12, 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm, with lunch
LOCATION:
The TX WRNN meetings at CAMT will be held in meeting rooms in the Hotel Gibbs located across the street from the Alamo and a 10-minute walk from the Henry B. González Convention Center where CAMT will be held.

Participants must register for the TX WRNN Networking Meeting (free) and separately register and pay for the CAMT Conference on the conference website.
