Benefits of participating:  

  • Flexible time commitment and schedule 

  • Connect with colleagues both in- and outside the Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program for collaboration, professional development, and other support.

  • Gain valuable insights into classroom implementation of research-based mathematics teaching and learning.

  • Maximize your professional learning by leveraging the experiences of peers and the resources and ideas they collect.

  • $350 stipend covers any costs from professional learning events you choose to attend and more!

Expectations of participants:  

  • Register for this Networking event 

  • Submit a tentative proposal for what professional learning you plan to attend. Link to submit your plan will be provided after registration is confirmed.

  • Optional: We can meet virtually to discuss options and help you find interesting opportunities if you don’t already have something in mind for your professional learning proposal. PD Resource List 

  • Attend at least 3 hours of professional learning of your choice either online or in-person between registration and January 9th.

  • Share what you’ve learned with your colleagues at a short (45-60 min) online networking session (January, time(s) TBD based on participant availability).

  • Contribute any useful resources from your experiences to a shared collection of resources accessible to all participants.

  • Complete a short survey about your experiences with this event. 

  • *We encourage you to use part of your stipend to join a professional organization such as NCTM or one of its affiliates.

  •  

Eligibility: 

  • Pre-service or early-career Noyce Scholar Teachers who teach mathematics

  • Colleagues of Noyce Scholar Teachers are welcome to attend the networking events but are not eligible to receive the stipend 

 

Priority Registration Deadline:  September 30, 2026. Continued registration until all spots are filled or November 1, whichever comes first.
