Math Noyce Networking Event with Flexible Online Professional Learning and Stipend-- Spring 2026
No time to travel to a conference? Not able to attend the NCTM conference in person? Can’t fit in-person professional learning into your schedule? Need a more flexible and inexpensive option?
Join us this spring online for paid professional learning in a format that is tailored to fit your busy schedule!
This paid Noyce Scholar Math Networking Event works in conjunction with the NCTM 2026 Virtual Conference to provide a more flexible option for both networking and professional learning. Dates for the conference have not yet been announced but these live and on-demand conference sessions will likely become available in April with recorded sessions available for 30 days after as well.

- Maximize your experience at the conference by leveraging the experiences of peers and the resources and ideas they collect at the conference.
- Access hundreds of NCTM resources free and at a discount.
- $350 stipend covers costs and more!
Expectations of participants:
- Register* for this Networking event (scroll down for details on how to do this)
- Sign up to be a member of NCTM
- Register* for the NCTM 2026 Virtual Conference (not yet available—we’ll let you know when to register)
- Attend two short (45-60 min) online networking sessions (times TBD based on best participant availability).
- The first will be prior to the conference (date/time TBD) and the second will be 30 to 40 days after the conference
- Attend at least 5 sessions of the NCTM 2026 virtual conference at your convenience and be prepared to share what you’ve learned with your colleagues.
- Contribute to a shared collection of resources from the conference based on the sessions you attended.
- Share some insights about your participation via a short survey after attending the conference and online networking events.
Eligibility:
- Pre-service or early-career Noyce Scholar Teachers who teach mathematics
- Colleagues of Noyce Scholar Teachers are welcome to attend the networking events but are not eligible to receive the stipend
*Sign-Up Process:
- Indicate your intent to attend the conference and join us for networking using the registration button below ASASP so we can plan for your attendance and send details as they are available.
- Join National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) to get a reduced rate for any NCTM conferences and lots of other benefits (membership is as low as $49 for students,$59 for other new members, and $99 for returning members)
- Check with your school district and/or Noyce administrators for possible additional funding for the conference.
- Register for the NCTM 2026 Virtual Conference (we’ll notify you with details when registration is open. You’ll be responsible for this cost and reimbursed by the stipend later. Last year registration ranged from free for students to $279)
- After the conference you’ll be issued a stipend of $350 for your participation which will reimburse you for all expenses plus some extra for you to keep.
Pre-Conference and Post-conference Meetings
We’ll have just two synchronous Zoom sessions which will each last approximately 45 minutes.
- Initial Zoom Networking Meeting prior to conference availability (details TBD)
- Final Zoom Reflection Gathering roughly a month after conference sessions become available (details TBD)
