Travel Details

Travel

You will need to make your own travel arrangements for the conference, please plan your arrangements so you arrive no later than 3:00pm on Friday, March 10th, to give yourself time to arrive to the hotel and check-in for the conference. (If you are planning to attend the field trip, you will need to arrive earlier. Check out the Field Trip tab for more details.) Check-in for the conference will start at 1:00pm, though rooms may not be available by then. Please plan to depart no sooner that 2:00pm on Sunday, March 12th so you don't miss any part of the conference.

Hotel

When you register for the conference, you'll automatically be placed on a rooming list for the hotel.  Any additional days beyond the conference dates will be at your own expense. If you are extending your days, let us know and we'll reserve the room for those days.  The conference rate is available for one day before and after. We make the reservation and then you self-pay for any additional days or extra charges to the room. The rate for additional days are $165 per night + taxes.

All hotel reservations are made through Noyce, you do not have to make your own reservations. All rooms will be private, no one will be required to share a room.

Transportation to the Hotel and Airport

We will provide you with a code to use with Lyft for transportation from the Sacramento Airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport. It takes approximately 20-30 minutes to travel between the Sheraton and the airport. You are responsible for any other ground transportation.

WRNC will provide a reception (light dinner) on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.  All other meals are your own responsibility. See the Sacramento tab of this website for restaurant ideas.

Reimbursement

All reimbursements will be processed after the conference, but please send in your receipts and itinerary as you book your travel. This will help expedite your reimbursement. See the reimbursements tab for information on what is needed for reimbursement.
